The other day I bought a new StrykeForce from my local dealer. Purchased some extra 22" carbon arrows with plastic moon nocks because the dealer had no extra Stryker arrows. The second time I shot one of the extra arrows the nock split, the arrow also split and tore the serving on the string. When the dealer removed the serving several of the string strands were frayed. They reserved the string as they didn't have any extra strings.
The dealer called BowTech and has a string on order. BowTech also told the dealer you have to use their arrows with moon nocks as no other arrow has a nock strong enought to withstand the force generated by the bow. The following is from BowTechs website. "As of 09/14/2009, the BowTech Pro Shop website is no longer in service. We are no longer taking new orders, but all orders currently in progress will be completed."
So, where does one buy replacement strings for this crossbow? I have emailed BowTech with questions four days ago and still no reply.
Thank you,
